Sukhumvit is one of the most versatile areas of Bangkok, with a huge array of hotels and restaurants, from street food to affordable Michelin Star restaurants. Sukhumvit neighbourhood is immense and is a popular residential area for expats who live mostly in the many sois that branch out from the main road. The most popular roads, locally called ‘Sois’ are Thonglor (Soi 55) Soi and Ekkamai (Soi 63). Sukhumvit road itself is 488 km long and starts at Ploenchit Road and stretched all the way to Trang. And of course, Sukhumvit is where the famous red-light districts are: Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza.
